Nina Cohen Debaisieux, discovered yoga when she was 19. She started practicing Iyengar with Onfroy and immediately fell in love with that practice that changed her life.
She then tried Ashtanga with Joffrey Hubert and Jivamukti with Carol Issa, Clmence Leguiller and Laure Pepin. She realized that Jivamukti Yoga brings together all of her passions: expression through dharma talk, music through mantra chanting and harmonium, magic touch, a dynamic asana practice, study of scriptures and meditation.
She then decided to do the 300 hour teacher training in Costa Rica in 2018 with Emma Henry and Camilia Veen as facilitators and Juan Sierra as mentor. She started teaching straight after in Paris, subbing for Carol Issa. Alongside her life as a teacher, Nina was working as a comedian and director, and still studying drama and theater.
That led her to move to Brussels for a year and a
half, where she kept spreading her love for Jivamukti.
