LUDIVINE METAIRIE
Trained in philosophy (Doctorate Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne), and contemporary dance (Master in Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis) as well as in circus arts, Ludivine worked as a performer-dancer and choreographer for various projects often related to the subject of violence against women and the fight against discrimination.
She is now dedicated to teaching the art of movement and somatic practices, in group and private sessions, both on practical and theoretical level, in different yoga
studios and dance schools of Paris, as well as taking part in various festivals in France and abroad.
It was during her first trip to India in December 2015, during a contemporary dance festival, that she
truly discovered yoga and decided to be trained in the tradition of Hatha Yoga at the a1000yoga
school in Bangalore (South India) under the guidance of Pradeep Gowda.
Certified RYT 200 hours by the Yoga Alliance, she continues to deepen her knowledge in Ashtanga
Vinyasa Yoga at the Yoga Bindu Institute in Barcelona. She follows the teachings of Tiago Rocha and
David Kyle and obtains a certification in Rocket Yoga.
In December 2018, she was certified in Prenatal, Postnatal Yoga and Maternity Physiology by the
Institut Bernadette de Gasquet. Since 2016 Ludivine has been teaching Vinyasa Yoga (dynamic) and Yin Yoga or deep relaxation (gentle and meditative practice), with an emphasis on nervous and muscular recovery, in French, English and Spanish. She gives private and small groups lessons in collaboration with osteopaths and physiotherapists for a holistic maintenance of energetic and emotional balance.
